CALDWELL, NJ – Downton Abbey comes to the Caldwell Library in a series of events over the next few months.
The first event is set to take place on Saturday, October 11 from 6 to 10:30 pm featuring an interactive murder mystery led by Murder on Cue performers. This fundraising event hosted by The Caldwell Public Library Foundation provides dinner, drinks and free valet parking while searching the Crawfish estate (Mt. St. Dominic Academy) for clues. The Downton Abbey Trivia Contest will take place from September 2 to 16. Ages 18 and up are invited to test their Downton Abbey knowledge by entering a trivia contest for a chance to win two free movie tickets courtesy of Caldwell Cinema. Pick up and return ballots at Caldwell Library.
The Library will screen movies featuring Maggie Smith, who plays the Dowager Countess Violet Crowley of Downton Abbey, on Wednesdays at 1 pm. On Sept.10, enjoy Pizza and a Movie featuring Murder by Death. On Sept.17,enjoy English tea and sweets with the film, Gosford Park. Registration required.
