ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Six communities in western Essex County will have their own secure ballot drop boxes for the November election.
Drop boxes will be placed in Fairfield, Essex Fells, Roseland, Caldwell, West Caldwell and North Caldwell.
The drop box in Fairfield will be placed in front of the Fairfield Police Department at 230 Fairfield Road.
The drop box in Essex Fells will be at the rear of the municipal building at 255 Roseland Ave.
The drop box in Roseland will be at the police station at 15 Harrison Ave.
The drop box in Caldwell will be at Town Hall, 1 Provost Square.
The drop box in West Caldwell will be at the municipal building at 30 Clinton Road.
The drop box in North Caldwell will be at Borough Hall, 141 Gould Ave.
Since all New Jersey registered voters will receive mail-in ballots this year, they will be able to drop their ballots in these boxes.
Voter registration forms in English or Spanish may be downloaded from the Essex County website or picked up in person at the County Clerk's Office or from local municipal clerks, or from a Motor Vehicle Agency office. They are due back to the Essex County Clerk no later than 21 days before the general election, Nov. 3, which this year is Oct. 13.
