NORTH CALDWELL, NJ -- The West Essex field hockey team will have to wait an extra day to play its state Tournament of Champions semifinal game.

The NJSIAA rescheduled games that were slated for neutral sites on Tuesday evening because of the forecast for frigid weather.

Instead of playing at a neutral site, third-seeded West Essex, the Group 2 state champion, will play Group 4 champion Eastern High School, the second seed, at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Eastern's home field in Voorhees, in South Jersey.

The T of C championship game has been scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. at Kean University.
