EAST HANOVER, NJ - Will Perez and Nick Celentano each scored two touchdowns and West Essex scored all its points in the first half to defeat Hanover Park, 42-14, on opening night Friday.

The Knights built a 42-0 lead by halftime. Perez ran for TDs of 21 and 9 yards, and Celentano had scoring runs of 34 and 28 yards.

Nick Celentano ran for a 28-yard score in the opening quarter, and quarterback Zach Lemanski went 12 yards on a keeper for another TD in the first period. Dorian Gashu scored from 3 yards out in the second quarter.

Patrick Delehanty was perfect on six extra-point attempts.
