Football: West Essex Routs Chatham, 42-0

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ - Zach Lemanski threw two touchdown passes and West Essex rolled up a 35-point lead in the first half on its way to a 42-0 victory over Chatham Friday night.

Lemanski threw TD passes to Phil Lutz and Ryan Rusignuolo in the first and second quarters, respectively. The West Essex QB finished with seven completions in eight attempts for 89 yards overall.

The Knights got TD runs from Vincent Scaglia (4 yards), Anthony Sangillo (43 yards) and Nick Celentano (9 yards) in building a 35-0 bulge before the half was over.

Luke Garcia motored in from 13 yards away in the third quarter to finish off the West Essex scoring. Patrick Delehanty kicked six extra points.

Anthony Sangillo paced the Knights defense with 11 tackles. West Essex is 4-1. Chatham is 1-4.
