Girls Lacrosse: Caldwell Rallies for Wild Opening Day Win, 18-17, over Morris Knolls

DENVILLE, NJ - The Caldwell High School girls lacrosse team rallied from a four-goal halftime deficit to score an 18-17 victory over Morris Knolls in the opener for both teams on Wednesday.

Sam Gargiulo led the way with six goals and four assists for Caldwell, which trailed, 10-6, at halftime. Brittany Cositgan fired in five goals for the Lady Chiefs.

Caitlyn Buermann scored three goals and had one assist, and Vienna Cocca and Allie Behre each scored two goals for Caldwell, which outshot Morris Knolls, 28-23.
