Hackensack Man Arrest for Drug Possession in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, NJ — After spotting the same 2015 Jeep that he had observed acting suspiciously only days earlier in the same location, Fairfield Officer Jeffrey Dean conducted a motor vehicle stop that led to the arrest of Anthony Gorga, 57, of Hackensack.

Further investigation of the vehicle, which was found to be operated by Gorga, led to the discovery of a small quantity of suspected marijuana and a pipe, according to police. Gorga was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on the afternoon of March 10.

Gorga was subsequently arrested, processed and released on his own recognizance pending court action.
