WEST ORANGE, NJ - Spencer Brown scored three goals and helped on one assist to lead Millburn to an 8-5 ice hockey victory over West Essex on Saturday.

Millburn (11-2-3) outscored West Essex, 4-2, in the second period to open a 6-2 lead. Sam Charlat's second goal of the game with 14:31 left in the second period gave the Millers a 3-0 lead, and Matt Riskin scored with an assist from Jack Williams to make it 4-0 Millburn with 11:51 left.

Ryan Potechin and Andy Fresen also scored goals for Millburn, which got three assists apiece from Williams and Charles Palmer.

Reed Dooskin scored two goals for West Essex (3-8-1). Jack Santoro had three assists for the Knights.
