James Caldwell High School to Present “The Addams Family—a New Musical Comedy” Credits: Christine Corliss

WEST CALDWELL, NJ - The James Caldwell High School spring musical, “The Addams Family—a New Musical Comedy,” is being presented from March 19 to March 21 at 7:30 p.m., and on March 22 at 2 p.m., at the James Caldwell High School Center for Performing Arts, 265 Westville Ave.

There will be a pre-show “Spook House Walkthrough” in the lobby on Saturday, March 21 only, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cost is $3 per person. Tickets to the show are: $10 for general admission and $5 on March 19 for senior citizens only. To purchase tickets, click HERE.

The show is based on the 2010 Broadway musical comedy with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with characters based on The Addams Family characters created by Charles Addams.

New Jersey Governor Phillip D. Murphy signed Executive Order No.1 on Monday ordering the flag of the United States of America and the Flag of the State of New Jersey to be flown at half-staff to recognize and mourn the passing of the victims in Parkland, FL.

The order is for all state offices, agencies and municipalities, including schools for Tuesday, Feb. 20.

Notice of Budget Meeting for Borough of North Caldwell

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — The mayor and council of the Borough of North Caldwell will hold a Budget Meeting and Capital Budget Meeting on Tuesday, March 6, at 6 p.m. for discussion on the 2018 Municipal Budget and 2018 Capital Budget.
