The girls were guided by Head Coach Stephen Trivino and Assistant Coach Elizabeth Coogan-Russell. Trivino said this was the “closest knit group of girls [he] ever coached….they didn’t let good enough get in the way of great this year.”

“It’s a long history," said Trivino. "I remember standing in this room 18 years ago hoping for a good vote and that we’d have a swim team.”

Trivino also acknowledged that “all the years of great work and teams that came before, which lead to this team who did something no other team has done before for Caldwell Swimming, and that is be State Champs.”
