WEST CALDWELL, NJJames Caldwell High School has announced that its ShopRite Stars for the second marking period of the 2017-2018 school year include Juan Riestra (service), Kyle Schaffer (sports), Kelly Chang (leadership), Alyssa Krisinski (academics) and Sophia Ricci (arts).

Senior students are nominated every marking period in the areas of academics, arts, athletics, leadership and community service. They are then notified and their photos are displayed at both the High School and in the West Caldwell ShopRite.

The program, initiated locally by Ned Gradstein, the owner of ShopRite in West Caldwell, was established in 1999 to recognize the accomplishments of local high school students.
