James Caldwell Post 185 American Legion Intalls Officers and Honors 60-Year Member

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — The James Caldwell Post 185 American Legion installed new officers at its annual dinner on May 6 and also acknowledged West Caldwell resident William Booth for his years of service.

Booth, a 60-year member of the James Caldwell Post 185 American Legion, also served in the United States Army in Korea. He is pictured above with Post Commander Daniel Handy.

New officers were also installed during the dinner.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - An Essex County man died Friday night after a shooting in New Brunswick, authorities announced on Saturday.

Tawan Moses, 25, of East Orange, was found dead by authorities at 8:30 p.m. on Throop Avenue near Fester Park, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey.
