WEST CALDWELL, NJ - James Caldwell High School (JCHS) senior Jack Docteroff, a baseball and football player at JCHS, was awarded the 2014 Best Teammate Award for the Super Essex Conference at the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center on Thursday, May 22. The event is in its second year, and already with coaches and athletic directors looking for a way to reward the unsung heroes, a popular one. One of 36 student-athletes from SEC high schools honored for their selflessness and promoting team unity, Docteroff received the award at a banquet sponsored by Investors Bank, a major supporter of the Museum's character education programs. With Docteroff are Tim Capstraw, Brooklyn Nets radio analyst, and Scott Agnoli, Investors Bank director of marketing.

NJ Governor Signs Executive Order to Fly Flags at Half-Staff to Recognize Parkland Florida Victims

New Jersey Governor Phillip D. Murphy signed Executive Order No.1 on Monday ordering the flag of the United States of America and the Flag of the State of New Jersey to be flown at half-staff to recognize and mourn the passing of the victims in Parkland, FL.

The order is for all state offices, agencies and municipalities, including schools for Tuesday, Feb. 20.

Notice of Budget Meeting for Borough of North Caldwell

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — The mayor and council of the Borough of North Caldwell will hold a Budget Meeting and Capital Budget Meeting on Tuesday, March 6, at 6 p.m. for discussion on the 2018 Municipal Budget and 2018 Capital Budget.  

This meeting will be held in the Municipal Building, 141 Gould Avenue in North Caldwell.  Action May Be Taken.
