Next Generation Services Invites Readers to Learn about “Retirement Around the World” on Company Blog

ROSELAND, N.J., August 30, 2013 – Americans who dream about retiring in a foreign country can learn what that could be like for them in the blog series, “Retirement Around the World” on the website of Next Generation Trust Services, LLC, a third-party administrator of self-directed retirement plans. The series, which launched in early August, was the idea of Kerry O’Brien, Next Generation’s marketing assistant. O’Brien researches and writes about the retirement systems of foreign countries as well as the lifestyle, cost of living, and other facets of life abroad.

“When Kerry brought this idea to me, I thought it would be a great way to educate our clients about retirement in a fresh way,” said Jaime Raskulinecz, founder and CEO of Next Generation. “We typically share updates on our blog about legislation that affects retirement plans, national trends on spending and investing, or news about the retirement industry, finances, or taxes. But we’re all enjoying the insights into what retirement is like for citizens of these other countries, and have a better understanding of what it would be like for an American citizen to retire abroad.”

In addition to full-service account management and transaction support for self-directed retirement accounts, Raskulinecz and her staff offer free guidance and education about the many options and benefits of self-direction, in which individuals make all their own investment decisions and may invest in a wide range of alternative assets in addition to traditional ones.

To date, O’Brien’s series has covered retirement in Italy, France, Ecuador, Thailand, and Ireland. Each article outlines the different pension funds available and the typical financial picture for retirees in each country; what Americans should expect as retirees there, from housing costs to medical insurance coverage; and tips on what to see, do, and eat. As with all of Next Generation’s blog posts, the articles are shared on the firm’s social networks and through emails.

The new blog series is just one of Next Generation’s expanded website offerings. The company recently added many online conveniences for prospective and current account holders such as Starter Kits and Account Management Kits, the ability to pay account fees online, and DocuSign for certain forms.

How much wood wouldn’t a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck woodn’t?

Enough already.

I get it.  It is an easy mistake to make, misusing would and wouldn’t.  It happens to me all the time.
