LIVINGSTON, NJ — When the Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC) hosted its first “Joint Chamber” networking barbecue on Tuesday, Livingston Bagel welcomed members of the LACC, the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce, the Millburn/Short Hills Chamber of Commerce, the North Essex Chamber of Commerce, the South Orange Chamber of Commerce and the West Orange Chamber of Commerce.
Thanks to event sponsors Regal, Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, George Press Fine Jewelers, Jan Press Photomedia and Livingston Bagel, LACC President Monte Ehrenkranz said the Joint Chamber was a great success and something that will likely continue.
“The Multi Chamber BBQ was a great event to kick off the summer,” said Beth Lippman, executive director of the Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce. “We had over 80 people attend from surrounding towns.”
Brittany Chiles, executive director of the West Orange Chamber of Commerce, said she was so excited to have such a strong presence of West Orange members at the event. She encourages those who couldn’t make it to clear their schedules for the next one.
“Our Livingston Chamber BBQ is like being at the beach,” said chamber member and past LACC president Louis Urban. “We’ve got the sun, the good people, the music, the great food and great entertainment.”
The next Joint Chamber event will be held at Wine Legend in West Orange on July 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“Another great night at the Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce,” said sponsor Jan Press. “Thank you for coming, everybody—we have beautiful sunshine, great food, what else could you ask for? Come and join us next time.”
