North Essex Chamber of Commerce Seeks Sponsors for 17th Annual "Taste of Essex"


WEST ORANGE, NJ — The North Essex Chamber of Commerce (NECC) is hosting its 17th Annual “Taste of Essex” event ‪on Monday, April 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at The Manor in West Orange. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for this event.

"Taste of Essex" raises money for the Chamber Foundation, which provides scholarships for deserving area students and provides community outreach to the north Essex County region. It also allows the NECC to continue to serve local businesses and provide programs to the communities.

“This year's ‘Taste’ promises to be another hugely successful event,” said event chairperson Kaitlin Kurdyla. “We are excepting over 50 restaurants and hundreds of attendees.”

For $45 in advance or $65 at the door, guests are invited to sample some of the finest cuisine that Essex County has to offer all in one place at the “Taste of Essex” event. Dozens of local restaurants and other food and drink purveyors will share their finest offerings to be judged on the best sweet and savory dishes.

New this year, the NECC is introducing a “top beverage” category to accompany its “top sweet” and “top savory” categories.
