MONTCLAIR, NJ – The North Essex Chamber of Commerce (NECC) is seeking to connect its members with the community through the newly unveiled Connection Card program. Launching in 2017, the program offers a discount card valid at participating NECC businesses.
The card is available for purchase by the general community and is valid from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2017. Savings include free consultations and discounts on services and purchases.
"The Connection Card program encourages the community to discover their local businesses," said Holly Kaplansky, president of NECC and owner of Minuteman Press of Newark. "We always look for ways to increase our support of Chamber members, and hope this jumpstarts their 2017."
Businesses are still enrolling, but currently include C3Workplace, Centralized Solutions Technical Services, Envoy Business Systems, Innovative Divorce Services, LLC, Lifelong Investments LLC, Mecca Integrated Medical, Minuteman Press of Newark, Noesis Marketing, Park Street Automotive, Pure Balance/IMX Pilates, SAFTEY NJ LLC, The Spa at Mecca, Thatcher McGhee's Fairfield and Uptown Art.
Proceeds from card purchases go toward the NECC Foundation's scholarship program and other educational projects. The scholarship program provides awards for graduating high school seniors who pursue higher education.
