WEST CALDWELL, NJ — Orchard School recently held its spring concert. It was a night filled with music and dancing, with parents joining in.
A special ‘Evening Brunch’ or ‘Dinner for Breakfast’ meal was served. Teachers, parents and children enjoyed pancakes, waffles, sausage, fruit and cookies.
"This concert is part of our music enrichment curriculum," said Erin Moss, director of The Orchard School. "The kids and parents love it, and we have been holding this concert every year for as long as the school has been in existence.”
“The fact that children can make beautiful music is less significant than the fact that music can make beautiful children,” said Cheryl Lavender, Doctor of Music Education and internationally recognized master music educator and composer.
"Our spring concert is a tradition that we always look forward to, the children and parents make it a night to remember," Moss said.
