WEST CALDWELL, NJ -- TAPinto West Essex recently caught up with Erin Moss, director of the Orchard School in West Caldwell, to ask her about some of the highlights 2018 held for her.
Q: When you look back on this year, what are some of the things that really stand out for you?
A: 2018 has been a great year! For me, I love watching the children grow and master a vast array of milestones. There is so much we have done this year, it’s hard to pull out just the highlights, but I will try. If I had to sum it up, I would say, watching the children thrive with the academic endeavors we presented them with, our Halloween party where the children dressed up in costume, sang and danced, and generally had a fantastic time. And of course, I must mention our Christmas party, where Santa stopped by to hand out presents. The children were enthralled and everyone left with a little bit of Christmas magic.’
Q: What the Orchard School’s plans are for 2019?
A: New year – new friends. We are planning some different experiences that will mark our growth at Orchard School. Our academics program will remain supreme. We will continue adding exciting arts and crafts projects, have our wonderful celebrations, plan for seasonal activities all year round. Overall, each year brings new perspectives and insights and our goal at Orchard School is to make sure each and every child receives the exact tools necessary for their personal growth and journey.”
Moss added, "Please remember Orchard School is only closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. We are open the weekdays in between. Happy, healthy and joyous New Year to all."
