Police Investigate Strong Arm Robbery in Caldwell

Caldwell Police Ask for Public’s Help Locating Suspect in Strong Arm Robbery Credits: Caldwell Police Department Detective Bureau

CALDWELL, NJ — Caldwell Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect in a strong-arm robbery that occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20. No weapon was reported in the incident

According to Detective Sgt. Brad Palatucci, a female was approached by an unknown Hispanic male in a wooded area located on the Caldwell University campus on that date. The male demanded the victim’s wallet and once the wallet was turned over, the suspect fled the area on foot.

The male is described as a Hispanic male possibly in his late 20s, approximately 5-foot-6, wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, black pants, sunglasses and was possibly wearing gloves.

Attached is a composite sketch of the suspected individual. Anyone who recognizes this individual has any information pertaining to this investigation should contact the Caldwell Police Department Detective Bureau at (973) 226-2600.

Notice of Budget Meeting for Borough of North Caldwell
