CALDWELL, NJ — Having recently authorized the replacement of all borough street signs, the Caldwell Borough Council was presented with a sample of the new signs on Tuesday.
Borough Administrator Paul Carelli brought the new artwork to the council meeting in order to get the go-ahead from the mayor and council to continue with the project. He did not have a prediction for the timing of completion.
The council also discussed the possibility of selling the old signs during a town event once the signs come down. Carelli said the council would simply need to pass a resolution “rendering them obsolete” in order to do so.
