ROSELAND, NJ - Chris Ruesch was inducted into the Roseland Auxiliary Police at the Borough’s Council meeting on Tuesday.

Ruesch was sworn in by Roseland Mayor John Duthie. Ruesch swore to act in a manner and ability befitting a police officer and to faithfully obey the orders of his superiors.

“The Auxiliary Police” spend many man hours assisting the Roseland PD at no cost to the borough,” Roseland Office of Emergency Management Head John Matthias said. “It’s a great opportunity for those who want to get involved with the community and if you’re interested in a career in law enforcement, it’s a great stepping stone.
