WHIPPANY, NJ — Roseland resident Jordan Amanda Clarise Mack, a student at Montclair Kimberly Academy, was recently selected as one of 20 girls from seven New Jersey counties to participate in the prestigious 2019 Debutante Leadership Program, offered every other year by the Essex County Chapter of the Links, Incorporated.

For 27 years, this program has been offered by invitation only to outstanding high school junior and senior girls in New Jersey who have demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to community service. Every other year, the debutantes participate in educational, cultural, social and community service activities, and weeks of dance rehearsals with their escorts and fathers.

The 2019 Debutante Leadership Program began in February and will culminate on Dec. 8, 2019 in a formal cotillion to be held on Sunday, Dec. 8 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hanover Marriott Hotel in Whippany. The theme for the 14th Biennial Emerald & Ivory Debutante Cotillion is “Preparing the Next Global Servant Leader,” and tickets are available through Nov. 20.
