CALDWELL, NJ — The Rotary Club of the Caldwells (RCC) recently donated $5,000 to the Caldwell Police Department toward the purchase of a drone for the department to provide additional security for events like the annual Rotary/Kiwanis Street Fair.

On behalf of the RCC, president Samantha Cordaro McCoy said the club is “proud to help sponsor the drone and thankful for the opportunity to support the Caldwell Police Department.”

"The purchase of this drone will help the police in a wide variety of situations including providing needed security for the street fair,” she said. “We knew how important it was to fund such a worthwhile project and are hopeful that it provides benefits for years to come.”
