FAIRFIELD, NJ – Fairfield Deputy Chief Anthony Manna, Officer in Charge has announced that a second investigation conducted by the Fairfield Police Department at a Federal Express facility located in the township has resulted in another seizure of approximately ten pounds of suspected marijuana that was shipped from California and destined for Paterson. This seizure took place on April 6, while similar seizure of approximately the same amount occurred on March 26.

“The investigation is ongoing and no further details will be released” said Manna. “But it is obvious that we have disrupted, to some extent, a supply line of marijuana into New Jersey.”
