MILLBURN, NJ - Madison Gemma drove in five runs and was part of a three-home run attack that powered West Essex to a 15-0 softball victory over Millburn on Monday.

Gemma,  Julia Vardiman, Amanda Garofalo and Rachel Rodriguez each hit home runs for West Essex (8-2), which scored five runs in the second inning to take a 5-0 lead. Vardiman, a sophomore shortstop, went 3-for-4 with four runs scored and an RBI, and Bridget Betley collected two hits in four at-bats.

Betley, the winning pitcher, allowed five hits and struck out seven in five innings for the Lady Knights.
