TAP into West Essex Announces After Work Networking this Wednesday


FAIRFIELD, NJ – TAP into West Essex is hosting an after work networking event Wednesday evening for all local business professionals.

“Whether you own a business, work for a local business, are looking to hire or are looking for a new job, we hope that you will stop by and hang out with us,” said Jessica Marrone Parkes, business manager for “In addition to our main mission of delivering important local news to our towns on a daily basis, we are dedicated to supporting local businesses. One of the ways that we do that is by hosting this event.  We are very excited to provide a forum for businesses to get together on an ongoing basis.”

TAP into West Essex, the daily online newspaper for the West Essex region (Caldwell, North Caldwell, West Caldwell, Fairfield, Roseland and Essex Fells), held its first evening networking event in January and is planning to continue to host one every month.

“Our first event attracted over two dozen local business owners and executives,” said Conor McCloskey, marketing consultant for TAP into West Essex, “and we had professionals representing an array of industries such as banking, health and wellness, law, retail and hospitality.  We are looking forward to creating a space each month that will allow local professionals to network, share ideas, build relationships and to simply unwind after work.”
