CALDWELL, NJ — The Trinity Academy Drama Club will present “Shrek The Musical, Jr.” on Thursday, April 6, and Friday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m., in the Trinity Academy Gymnasium, located at 235 Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell. Tickets will be available at the door.

The production is based on the Oscar®-winning DreamWorks Animation film and the book “Shrek,” by William Steig. It follows the adventures of an ogre named Shrek, who sets off on a quest to save a princess from a dragon. However, it turns out that in order to ultimately succeed, Shrek must battle an even bigger obstacle: learning how to believe in himself and open his heart to others.

Under the direction of Kelly King, this is Trinity Academy's 24th annual drama production. Trinity continues to celebrate the arts, with the drama club giving students the opportunity to learn about acting, make-up, scenery, costumes, props, lighting and stage management.
