WEST CALDWELL, NJ — Verona native and current West Caldwell resident Joe Vivona appeared on NBC's "The Voice" on Tuesday, earning himself a spot on Team Pharrell.
Vivona, 27, works at his family's business Amusements of America. He performed "Dreaming with a Broken Heart" during his blind audition and caught the attention of three of the four judges: Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams.
Vivona announced that he chose to join Team Pharrell because Williams is his 95-year-old grandfather's favorite coach on the show. Vivona will appear on the show again during the battle rounds in the coming weeks.
