SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – Recently, the West Essex High School Winter Guard finished in first place in the Scholastic Regional A West Division of the Mid Atlantic Indoor Network Championships where they performed their show, "Color Blind," at South Brunswick High School.

“The Winter Guard had a fantastic season,” said WEHS Band Director John Scozzaro. “They finished in first place in the Scholastic Regional A class held at South Brunswick High School. This is the second time in the last three years that they finished in first place.”

He added, “Our guard instructor, Kevin Schlear, has done a phenomenal job with the group. He designed a creative and challenging show for the students. All the members of the guard worked tirelessly to perfect the show and their hard work paid off.”
