CALDWELL, NJ — The Women's Club of Caldwell is sponsoring a Student Poetry Contest in conjunction with the Caldwell Library. All entries must be submitted by Thursday, April 5, to the Caldwell Library, located at 268 Bloomfield Avenue.

The contest is open to students in third through 12th grades. The theme is "Springtime," and poems may be in any style, with a minimum length of eight lines and a maximum length of 30 lines. Student poems will be grouped for judging into three categories: third through fifth grades, sixth through eighth grades, and ninth through 12th grades.

Members of the Women's Club of Caldwell will serve as judges and will base their decisions on content, organization, and form. Finalists and runners-up will be invited to read their poems at a reception at the Caldwell Library in April.
