Over the Rainbow Learning Center in East Hanover is full service day care and pre-school.  The Center is licensed by the State of New Jersey and our certified staff maintains a safe, clean and well maintained facility for the children.

We provide a comprehensive curriculum, based on Maria Montessori's program, that stresses learning through fun and exploration. At the center, our equipment and toys are checked for safety and sanitized daily. 

Our facility is open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Monday thru Friday and we invite parents and students to come meet us anytime!  Like us on facebook to see more photos of our fun activities and visit our website for more information.

Infant Care Staff:

Maryanne Nelson has a BA from Douglass College, Rutgers University. She has been working with children for 24 years. Starting at Magic Castle Nusery School for three years and then worked for St. Rose of Lima Academy for 21 years as a Kindergarten teacher's assistant.  She also worked for the Essex County Educational Service Commission for the children at St. Rose K-8.  She taught summer camp at St.Rose during the summer months. Maryanne has been an East Hanover resident for 35 years and has raised four children (one son and three daughters) and is the proud grandmother of one grandson. Maryanne is an infant teacher at Over the Rainbow.

Beatriz Silva has worked at Over the Rainbow for almost two years.  Beatriz has been a babysitter for children for years and comes with wonderful recommendations. Beatriz is educated in Portugal and holds dual citizenship in Portugal and the United States. She is the mother of three daughters.   Beatriz is a resident of East Hanover and lives with her husband, her youngest daughter and her two dogs.  Beatriz is an infant teacher at Over the Rainbow.

Montclair Police Arrest Newark Man for Nearly Two-Dozen Vehicle-Related Crimes

MONTCLAIR, NJ - Montclair Police have arrested and charged a 20-year-old Newark man with nearly two-dozen crimes related to motor vehicle theft and vehicle burglaries.
