"George Washington Remembers New Jersey"

The Eagle Rock -Cranetown Chapter of the DAR and the West Caldwell Public Library are partnering to present the one-man show "George Washington Remembers New Jersey" featuring actor and storyteller David Emerson on Saturday, September 7 at 11:00 am in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road. 

In full costume, Emerson will portray George Washington as he reminisces about his brightest and darkest moments during the battles and encampments in New Jersey during the "Cockpit of the Revolution." Learn about New Jersey's role in the American Revolution from the perspective of George Washington, who spent considerable time in Trenton, Princeton, Morristown and Monmouth.

This program, funded by a grant from the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required. To sign-up, call the Library at 973-226-5441 or sign-up online @ https://bccls.libcal.com/event/5627814.
