The program, initiated locally by Ned Gradstein, the owner of ShopRite in West Caldwell, was established in 1999 to recognize the accomplishments of local high school students.

Each student winner will have his or her photograph displayed at the high school and in the West Caldwell ShopRite, which also donates a $1,000 award toward Project Graduation.
