WEST CALDWELL, NJ — After receiving 15 designs from students as part of a competition to create “Caldwell Strong” T-shirts that will be sold as part of a James Caldwell High School (JCHS) fundraiser benefiting the West Essex First Aid Squad and the Caldwell Food Pantry, the top two creations have been selected and about $4690 has already been raised as of Saturday night.

In conjunction with the JCHS class cabinet and student council officers, JCHS Vice Principal John Bertollo and JCHS Student Council Advisor Jesse Braddell helped advertise the need for student designs and subsequently created a Google form with the submitted designs so that the student body could vote for their favorites.

Designs from senior Kate Champion and junior Scott Bivona emerged as the top two, and their T-shirt creations can now be ordered online for $20 each through Custom Ink.
