ESSEX FELLS, NJ — According to unofficial election results provided by the Essex County Clerk’s Office, John King and Bernard D'Avella will keep their seats on the Essex Fells Borough Council. 

With 2,393 votes cast, King received 32.7 percent and D'Avella 33.2 percent of the ballots counted in the borough’s council election. Unofficial results determined that King and D'Avella pulled ahead of Democrat challengers Pamira Bezman and Robert Lewin, who received 16.6 percent and 17.6 percent of the votes, respectively.

The results of this election are not considered official until they are certified by the state.
