LIVINGSTON, NJ -- Saint Barnabas Medical Center is accepting donations of iPads and tablets for quarantined patients who are unable to get visits from family members.

"People who cannot see their family can still do Facetime with them if they have an iPad or a tablet," said Jolly Kuruvilla, a registered nurse at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. "They don't have to be new. They can be used, as long as they are functional, come with a charger and are 'ready to go'."

Volunteers who wish to donate iPads/tablets for patients can also contact Kuruvilla about donating healthy snacks.

Because visitors are not currently allowed to enter the hospital, unannounced drop-offs are not permitted. Anyone wishing to donate personal devices or snacks should contact Kuruvilla directly at (973) 668-1577 to arrange delivery.
