WEST CALDWELL, NJ — On Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at 7PM, the West Essex First Aid Squad will host its first Community Relations Event at 642 Bloomfield Avenue, West Caldwell, NJ to increase awareness of the Squads impact and value to the communities it serves. 

The presentation will include an overview of the services the Squad provides, the equipment and resources it has, and information about operating expenses and income.

About West Essex First Aid Squad: 

The West Essex First Aid Squad, (WEFAS), established in 1937 provides emergency medical services and rescue services to Caldwell, Essex Fells, Fairfield, North Caldwell and West Caldwell at no charge.  Volunteers are certified EMT’s or are in training to become certified.  Volunteers donate hundreds of hours each year to keep our mission alive. WEFAS is a proud member of the New Jersey EMS Task Force, an organization established to provide emergency responders to be on call for major incidents and pre-planned events throughout New Jersey.
