TMZ reported that the Audi was registered to Kim DePaola but it was primarily driven by her son Chris. Chris was reportedly dropped off at the airport in the car by some friends, who were then supposed to return it to his house. Chris had trouble contacting his friends after traveling to his destination and have not heard from them since, making media outlets speculate they may be the victims.

There is an ongoing investigation. To view the full press release from the Paterson police department, click HERE.
