Originally formed in 1920 as the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish League of Caldwell, the Sisterhood of Congregation Agudath Israel of West Essex  continues to work for the synagogue specifically with a focus on youth through their Early Childhood Center, and scholarships and with a focus on Adult Education.  The sisterhood is involved with successful philanthropic endeavors throughout the year to support their causes and are deeply involved with the religious work at the synagogue.

Amanda Neufeld was there representing the online retail store fibi&clo of New York. As Amanda said, “It’s all about fabulous shoes,” and Amanda had a nice assortment with her including Cascades in Black and Gold, Sea Star, Love Knot, and the Capri Wedge.

Owner of online retail business Lucky One Jewelry and Accessories, Marcella Van Peenan,  displayed a beautiful collection of Headwarmers, Necklaces, Bracelets, Earrings, and other accessories. She commented, “although my business is online, I have a lot of clients within the West Essex community.”

Gina Mortman, owner of online site A Little Chic Boutique happily displayed her large collection of Large Polka Dot Duffle Bags, a nice collection of onesies,  and really unique tutus!
From Gina’s website:  “Our Posh Tutus are absolutely gorgeous and handmade!  Each style is custom made at time of order.  Every fabulous skirt is so unique and is guaranteed to look simply stunning on your little fashionista!”

For example, for years I have been predicting the imminent demise of cell phones and the internet.

Which is why it seems only appropriate that I expound on ...
