Girls Soccer: Caldwell Tops Newark East Side, 8-2; Rebimbas Scores 5 Goals

NEWARK, NJ - Leanna Rebimbas scored five goals in a game for the second time this season to lead Caldwell to an 8-2 girls soccer victory over Newark East Side on Monday.

Emily and Megan Blankenship scored a goal apiece and Allie Frank closed out the scoring for Caldwell, which had four goals in each half.

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — The West Essex boys soccer team dropped a tough 3-0 loss to an undefeated powerhouse in Montclair on Monday night, falling to 1-3-1 on the young season.

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ - West Essex scored four goals in each half and posted an 8-0 field hockey victory over Montclair on Monday.

WEST CALDWELL, NJ - The Caldwell football team built a 37-point halftime lead and went on to a 44-0 victory over Parsippany Friday night.

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ - Jon Bartley scored both goals to lead West Essex to its first boys soccer victory of the season, 2-0, over Newark Academy on Wednesday.

Cameron Barrett assisted Bartley on one of his goals. The Knights (1-2-1) , who had tied West Orange, 1-1, over the weekend, were coming off a 5-1 loss to highly touted Seton Hall Prep on Monday.

WEST CALDWELL, NJ - Leanna Rebimbas scored five goals and Caldwell defeated Science Park of Newark, 12-3, in girls soccer on Tuesday.

Rebimbas tied a school record for goals in a game. Emily Blankenship finished with two goals and three assists and Allison Frank scored twice and had one assist for Caldwell (1-2), which scored seven of its goals in the second half.
