Softball: Millburn Defeats Caldwell, 6-4

WEST CALDWELL, NJ - Rachel Hubertus drove in four runs and Millburn went on to a 6-4 softball victory over Caldwell on Monday.

Hubertus went 3-for-4 with a home run and two singles for Millburn (6-6). Helen Casey went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the victory. Julie Levine allowed five hits and two earned runs for the win.


Boys Lacrosse: West Essex Downs Millburn, 7-3

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ - Jake Evangelista scored four goals to lead West Essex to a 7-3 boys lacrosse victory over Millburn on Monday.

Pat Dingwell, Phil Lutz and Will Perez each scored a goal for the Knights (2-7), who outshot Millburn, 23-15. West Essex goalie Dan Laible made 12 saves.

Owen Fried, Spencer Brown and Daniel Horgan each scored a goal for the Millers (4-6).


Baseball: Caldwell Romps, 16-8, over Montclair-Kimberley

UPPER MONTCLAIR, NJ - Mike Cavallo drove in five runs to pace the Caldwell baseball team to a 16-8 victory over Montclair-Kimberley Academy on Monday.

Cavallo delivered four hits, including a two-run home run. Frank Gencarelli added four RBI with a two-run homer, a double and a single for Caldwell (9-2).
