West Essex High School Scholar-Athlete Recognized by NJSIAA

ROBBINSVILLE, NJ – West Essex High School field hockey and softball’s Amanda Garofalo was recently one of 365 high school students to be recognized by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) at its annual scholar-athlete luncheon for their achievements. The NJSIAA awarded a total of $203,000 in college scholarships.

Max Ruvo Named to All-SEC Liberty Division Baseball Team

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ - Junior outfielder Max Ruvo of West Essex High School has been named to the All-Super Essex Conference Liberty Division 2017 baseball team.

Ruvo led the Knights (14-11) with a .475 batting average and finished with two home runs and 16 runs batted in. One of his home runs came against Roxbury in the second round of the NJSIAA state tournament.
