NORTH CALDWELL, NJ -- West Essex rallied from an early three-run deficit and scored the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning for an 8-7 baseball victory over Verona on Saturday.

Tyler Sorrentino went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI and Justin Waack was 3-for-6 with one run scored for the Knights (9-9), who trailed, 4-1, in the middle of the fifth inning. Tyler Behrle had two hits and two RBI and Vince Panzarino, Joe Connington and Joe Visaggio each had two hits in the victory.

Dom Coppola shined in long relief for West Essex. He pitched four scoreless innings, allowed just two hits, walked four and struck out three.
