WEST CALDWELL, NJ -- The Caldwell boys basketball team erased an early deficit and went on to a 58-39 victory over Montclair-Kimberley Academy Tuesday afternoon.

Brendan O'Donnell scored 19 points for Caldwell (10-1), which outscored MKA, 20-11, in the second quarter to take a 33-27 halftime lead.

Cristian Talavera connected for 17 points for the Chiefs, who pulled away in the second half, when they outscored MKA, 25-12. Logan Flaherty added eight points in the victory.
