NORTH CALDWELL, NJ -- The Caldwell boys basketball team sank 32 shots from the floor and rolled to an 81-47 victory over West Essex in the championship game of the West Essex Holiday Tournament Saturday night.

Hank Morgan scored 22 points and Cristian Talavera pumped in 21 points for the Chiefs (3-0), who took a 25-15 lead after one quarter and led, 49-26, at the half. Brendan O'Donnell finished with 11 points for Caldwell.

Daniel Brener led West Essex (2-2) with 18 points, including five 3-pointers. Chris Corbo finished with 13 points for the Knights.
