SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ -- The South Brunswick boys soccer team opened with a 5-1  victory over Wardlaw-Hartridge in the first round of the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament on Thursday.

Jake Stump scored three goals and assisted on one for the Vikings (11-6), who scored four goals in the second half after being tied with Wardlaw at the half.

Antonio Iovine had one goal and one assist and Romir Chatterjee scored a goal for South Brunswick. Sebastiano Villano, Cory Petersen and Pasel Mohamed all had assists in the victory. Joe Mastromonica stopped eight shots in goal for the Vikings.
