CALDWELL, NJ — Signups for the Caldwell Little League (CLL)—serves the three Caldwells, Essex Fells, Fairfield and Roseland and also includes girls softball division as well as an Intermediate 50/70 Baseball Division for ages 12-13—are currently underway for the 2020 season.

Now in its third year, the local boys and girls league is a fun experience for player of all levels, whether they are seasoned or just starting out, according to CLL President B.J. Kurus. 

Programs and fees for 2020 are as follows:

BASEBALL DIVISIONS

Tee Ball — ages 4 and 5 — $80

Coach Pitch — ages 6 and 7 — $90

Minor League (Player Pitch) — ages 8 and 9 — $100

Little League Majors — ages 10, 11 and 12 — $120

Intermediate 50/70 — ages 11 to 13 — $120

SOFTBALL DIVISIONS

Coach Pitch — ages 6 and 7 — $80

Minor League (Player Pitch) — ages 8, 9 and 10 — $90

Little League Majors — ages 11 and 12 — $100

Little League Junior — ages 13 and 14 — $120

Financial assistance is available, as the CLL, a nonprofit 501©3 organization, believes that no child should be turned away due to an inability to pay.

Early-bird registration offers $15 off the regular fee until Feb. 7, and regular registration will be open from Feb. 8 to March 6. Registration will remain open until April 4 for an added fee of $20 for those registering after March 6.
