WEST ORANGE, NJ -- Montclair opened a two-goal lead after two periods and went on to a 4-2 ice hockey victory over West Essex Wednesday night.

The score was even, 1-1, after one period, with West Essex (9-9-3) getting a goal from Joe Namyatov with an assist from Connor Hapward.

The Knights' other goal came in the third period, when Jack Santoro converted a power play opportunity with a helper from Clayton Prial. Jason Albrecht made 31 saves for the Knights.
