WEST ORANGE, NJ -- West Essex scored four goals in the third period to pull away for a 7-1 ice hockey victory over Bridgewater-Raritan on Saturday.

West Essex (2-2-1) led, 3-1, after two periods on goals by Dylan Huff, Nick Trabb and Rocco Garcia. The Knights clung to a two-goal lead until erupting for four goals in the final 3:06, including an empty-netter by Jack Santoro, a goal by Connor Hapward and two goals in the last 10 seconds by Justin Bergman.

Jake Lewicki assisted on two goals for West Essex, and goalie Zach Jewett made 23 saves.
