NORTH CALDWELL, NJ -- Jenna Chan, a member of the West Essex High School track team, this week signed a letter of intent to attend Binghamton University, where she will continue her athletic career.

So far this winter, Chan has run a personal best 7.44 in the 55-meter dash at the Essex County Track Coaches Association Season Opener, a personal best 26.37 in the 200-meter race at the Super Essex Conference Indoor Championship and a personal record 8.33 in the 55m hurdles at the Essex County Track Coaches Association Season Opener.

She was an all-state Group 2 selection in the 55m hurdles as a junior in the 2018-2019 indoor track season. Her outdoor personal bests include 4-6 in the high jump, 18-1.5 in the long jump, 35-3 in the triple jump, 13.06 in the 100-meter dash, 14.91 in the 100-meter hurdles, 26.90 in the 200-meter dash and 1:10.98 in the 400-meter hurdles.
