B.I.G. Inspiration for Women Comes to West Orange

The B.I.G. West Orange pod will host an informal Girls Night Out on Tuesday, August 30th at 7:30PM at SuzyQue’s BBQ, 34 S Valley Rd where the B.I.G. founder will speak.  Women are encouraged to visit the B.I.G. website at http://www.justthinkbig.us. Hundreds of women are already participating in B.I.G. (Believe, Inspire, Grow), an inspiring business organization, designed to “empower women to business.”

This membership-based organization utilizes face-to-face community meetings, an interactive website and monthly teleconferences to provide intelligent women a positive and educational support network to help move their business ideas forward. Many of these women have been out of the workforce for several years or they are looking to make a change in their current career.

Now, thanks to West Orange residents Jennifer Griola and Beverly Meaux, women throughout West Orange and the surrounding towns will have the opportunity to join and participate in B.I.G.  As the West Orange B.I.G. Leader, Griola will host monthly meetings, assisted by Meaux, for area women to discuss relevant business ideas, share insights and brainstorm ways to overcome their obstacles.

“I am excited to share this great opportunity with the women of West Orange,” said Griola.  “As an entrepreneur, myself, I know firsthand the many struggles and challenges that face women who desire to make economic contributions, without sacrificing their important family commitments.  B.I.G. provides the resources and infrastructure to allow us to overcome our business challenges and work toward success.” Meaux also noted as an area real estate agent and homeowner, she is always passionate about helping local businesses and entrepreneurs thrive.

Founded in September 2009 in Bernardsville, NJ B.I.G. has been rapidly expanding to communities throughout the USA.  To learn more about how to take the next step in their business lives women are encouraged to visit the B.I.G. website at http://www.justthinkbig.us or contact Jennifer Griola at jennifergriola@yahoo.com

Let the Games Begin

I am truly awed by the Olympics.  Watching these superb young athletes on TV inspires me to renew my membership to the gym and pursue my lifelong dream of taking home the gold.

The problem is that in my deluded head, I can see actually see myself standing atop the podium.  I am wrapped in a puffy designer ski coat with a huge piece of bling slung around my neck ...
